Today, 10/08/2023, at the Bookstore of the Vikelaias Library in Heraklion, we held the opening of the exhibition The Art of Social Media, which is organized for the fourth consecutive year.

Many thanks to our speakers, Varouchas Manolis (The Art), Archontaki Stella (Municipality of Heraklion), Rizikianakis Michalis (DEPANAL), Moraitakis Nikolas (Europe Direct) and Anastasakis Giannis (Municipality of Heraklion).

After the speeches, a video with the judges' favourite photos followed.

We cannot but express our grateful thanks to the jury, which was composed of prominent personalities such as Dr. Ulrike Gretzel, Senior Fellow of the University of Southern California, photographer Robert Körner, Tim Vasvi, also a photographer, Andreas Ieridis, Vassilis Sarioglou, Professor Bouchalis Dimitrios, Professor of Tourism Marketing at Bournemouth University, Kyriakos Kokkos, President of the Hellenic Photographic Society, Nikos Leontopoulos, General Curator of the same organisation, Pavlos Mavridis, photographer, and Stavros Hambakis, Visual storyteller.

Finally, we would like to thank everyone who attended and enjoyed the exhibition and the opening today.
